Basics:
This class is designed to introduce students to
yoga. Since strength and stamina come in
time as part of the process, this class is
limited to one hour.
Open:
This class
caters to
both beginners and intermediate students.
Beginning students are afforded the opportunity to
be inspired by their fellow classmates; the entire
class benefits from this energetic exchange of
heart-felt expressions.
Inversions, arm-balances and full-backbends are
introduced.
Intermediate: This is Michael's most
advanced class. Students taking this class
must have a solid intermediate/advanced asana
practice (some Anusara recommended). It is
strenuous and challenging, but most of all very
fun. Inversions, arm-balances and
full-backbends are explored into "radical
expansion."
The
Practice: In this class, Michael shares the
practice with the students, leading it along
side of them. We set up our sticky mats so
that 2 rows face each other, Michael taking a
center spot so as to see everyone. The
level of the class depends on who shows up and
accommodates everyone.
