The roots of Michael’s yoga practice
Drawn synchronistically to his first Hatha class toward the end of his twenties, Michael soon discovered yoga’s profound healing power following the loss of a loved one. In the depths of grief, he immersed himself in Sikh Kundalini Yoga, finding a transformative path through sorrow. Since then, yoga has remained a constant companion—grounding, healing, and opening doors to vibrant communities and inspiring teachers around the world.
Michael’s Classes: Vinyasa & Yin
Michael’s classes are infused with playful, dynamic movement and breath, designed to surprise, delight, and invite students deeply into their bodies. He weaves classic breath kriyas into creative Vinyasa flows that carry the disciplined rhythm and strength of the Ashtanga Primary Series. Drawing from his background as a martial arts practitioner, he brings precision, awareness, and embodied power to every sequence, encouraging students to explore their edge with curiosity and joy. His intention is simple yet profound: to inspire, uplift, and leave every student feeling more connected to themselves.
Whether guiding a vigorous flow or a restorative Yin practice, Michael creates spaces where students feel seen, challenged, and inspired to live more fully.
